Lead Systems Administration - Frederick, MD
AT&T has an opening for a Lead System Administration job to support the Light House Program.
Duties/Responsibilitities:

Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.

Travel to multiple AT&T locations within the Virginia and Maryland areas in support of AT&T and its customers.

Maintains in-house telephone network and provides support during outages.

Assists Security Team and provides support on security network related issues.

Able to provide 24/7/365 support by phone and on location when necessary.

Collaborate with Senior Leadership on extensive Fiber Optic Network.

Responsible for up to 50 Assets/Lease Roll equipment and renewals.

Communicate effectively with both AT&T leadership as well as AT&T customers on special projects, outages, and network issues.

Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.

Monitors network system to achieve optimum performance levels. Installs and monitors security auditing software and remediates defects based on ATT security policies.

Develops and promotes standard operating procedures. Provides technical oversight during installations and recovery projects.

Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation. Configures and extends vendor software to deliver solutions for internal customers.
Collaborates with vendors on product capabilities and improvements needed to meet AT&T requirements.
Required Clearance:
Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain TS/SCI (#clearable)(#ts/sci)
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred.

5 years of experience with network systems administration
