Security Officer - Lexington, MA
Will enforce security regulations; observe and patrol designated areas; prevent unauthorized access to protected areas; act as necessary in the event of emergencies including fire, industrial accident, internal disorder and attempts to commit espionage, sabotage, or other criminal acts; protect Laboratory personnel and property; participate in training programs required by law or established by the Laboratory and perform other duties as needed.
General:
- Must be able to interact with a diverse population and work with minimal supervision. Will be required to obtain and maintain CPR and Basic First Aid certifications
- May require frequent prolonged sitting, standing, and walking, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to ten pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds may be required.

What you need/Requirements?
For this position, you must meet these basic requirements.
- High school graduate with two years of security-related experience preferred. Security related education may be substituted for job experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is required. Preference will be given to candidates with an existing Secret government clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment investigation and must meet all eligibility requirements for access to classified information including compartmented programs.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license
